Lauren graduated with a first-class honours degree in Law from the University of Lincoln in 2019. Lauren then completed a master’s degree in law and passed the Legal Practice Course with a distinction from De Monfort University in 2020.
Lauren completed her Solicitor’s Regulations Authority training contract in May 2023 after completing two years of training working with the in-house legal team for North West Leicestershire District Council. Throughout this training, Lauren has gained experience in 4 main practice areas: Planning Law, Contract Law, Property Law, Litigation and Regulatory enforcement.
Lauren deals with all aspects of Planning, Contract and Procurement Law at Gedling Borough Council. This includes drafting and reviewing section 106 agreements for the planning team and advising on contract matters. Lauren is the legal representative for the Council at Planning Committee
