Gedling Legal Solicitor, Sara Pregon recently achieved a distinction in the Law Society’s Diploma in Local Government Law and Practice. Sara completed the comprehensive one-year self-study course in June 2019 with the results being recently announced. The Diploma involved the submission of three projects and one full day examination on a range of topics concerning local government law and practice.
Sara commented “the course raised my awareness of issues in local government law in areas beyond those which I practice and assisted my understanding of the working of Local Authorities and corporate issues. I have already been able to put what I learned into practice particularly when advising client officers on governance matters”
