Three members of the legal team recently took part in the Cancer Research UK race for life in honour of their very brave and beautiful colleague who has been undergoing treatment for breast cancer.
Inspired by her strength and courage throughout her treatment the team wanted to show their admiration and support for her and for everyone whose lives have been affected by cancer.
Cancer is something that touches every one of us, from our loved ones – family, and friends to colleagues and neighbours. In fact its now true that 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
